Tommy started singing for church dinners before he could
read. His mother noticed early on that he had a good
little singing voice and could, as it was put, keep time
like a metronome.
While in first grade his mom taught him how to play the
ukulele. It came in handy shortly afterwards when he
played it while singing harmony in a quartet with his
brothers and sister.
Tommy began studying violin in fourth grade and was
classically trained for 4 years. He later learned to
play the guitar and then the piano.
Tommy joined his first band, "All Rights Reserved", in
High school after buying a Wurlitzer combo organ. He
started performing his own songs and compositions then
as well and has continued doing so to the present.
At college he sang and played in several duos and also
in a university performance group, "The Young
Ambassadors" and a band named "Balderdash".
After college life, Tommy pursued a career in the music
business, , writing, arranging ,recording engineering
and performing in different bands like "The Subs" and
"The Red Ball Jets".
Tommy joined up with "Betty' in 2009. |
